Senior Unreal Engine Artist – Interior and Product Visualisation
YOUR ROLE
Join a passionate team of creatives, developers, and producers crafting world-class visualisation and technology solutions that transform customer experience, communication, and collaboration.
We’re looking for a Senior Unreal Engine Artist with a strong background in photoreal rendering, particularly in the context of interior and product visualisation. This is a hands-on, technically creative role focused on producing high-quality 3D stills and animation using Unreal Engine as an offline render tool, delivering results on par with traditional rendering pipelines.
You’ll bring multiple years of commercial experience in Unreal Engine, with a deep understanding of lighting, materials, and scene composition. You should be comfortable taking ownership of creative briefs, suggesting pipeline improvements, supporting junior team members, and working closely with the Head of CG and Unreal developers to continually evolve our internal tools and workflows.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create high-end photorealistic interior and product renders using Unreal Engine (Lumen, Path Tracer).
- Take ownership of creative briefs from layout to final render, with minimal oversight.
- Develop lighting setups and material libraries that push visual quality while remaining efficient and scalable.
- Suggest improvements to the Unreal Engine pipeline and workflows, working closely with the Head of CG and developers.
- Support and mentor more junior team members with Unreal best practices and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all deliverables meet visual quality, product accuracy, and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with producers and retouch/dev teams to ensure assets are finalised to the highest standard.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of commercial experience in high-end ArchViz, interiors, or product rendering.
- Expert-level skills in Unreal Engine, particularly for offline rendering workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Lumen, Path Tracer, and photo-real shader/material creation using PBR workflows.
- Experience using Substance Painter/Designer and/or PBR scanning techniques.
- Solid understanding of lighting, composition, and colour theory.
- Experience in 3DS Max and an offline renderer (e.g., V-Ray, Corona) is a strong plus.
- Ability to work with complex assets and material variants based on reference and client briefs.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- A keen eye for detail and an appreciation for architecture, interior design, and visual storytelling.
OUR CULTURE
At HF, we thrive on creative problem-solving and value freedom and responsibility in equal measure. We encourage initiative, innovation, and collaboration at every level. This role is perfect for someone who’s both technically sharp and creatively driven, eager to shape the future of real-time and offline visualisation with Unreal.
