Introduction

We’re expanding our in-house creative team at Prime and seeking a concept-first Motion Designer who can transform ideas into clear, compelling storyboards and deliver beautifully crafted animation with confidence.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Lead motion on campaigns, social and event pieces—from concept to delivery.

• Translate ideas into clear storyboards and simple animatics fast.

• Raise the bar on visual craft: timing, easing, typography, layout, compositing and sound.

• Collaborate with designers; give and receive feedback well.

• Keep an eye on trends and competitors; bring fresh references to the table.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience and Qualifications Required:

 

Experience Required:

• 5+ years in motion/animation or a standout reel that shows equivalent ability.

 

Must-haves

• Portfolio/showreel that proves taste, timing and polish.

• Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving; you can build an idea, not just execute.

• Advanced After Effects (scripting a plus) and solid design fundamentals.

• Comfortable working at pace and prioritising without drama.

• Clear communication and reliable ownership.

 

Nice-to-haves

• 3D (Cinema 4D/Blender)

• Editing and post (Premiere/Resolve), audio sense for timing.

• Experience with AI tools for workflow acceleration.

• Basic production knowledge (pre-prod through delivery).
