Signal Space Lab is an interactive creation studio specializing in immersive XR entertainment, video games, and audio production. Signal Space Lab is looking for an animator with a strong technical background to drive the (character) animation work on their new turn-based tactics IP Every Day We Fight, from rigging & skinning all the way to final animations. Be part of a small but passionate team, working primarily remotely!
SKILLS
- 2+ years of experience with a focus on (tech) animation.
- Experience with character rigging in Maya.
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4 and Animation State Machines, Montages, and Blueprints.
- Experience in IK/FK systems.
- Self-driven and willing to take initiative, comfortable wearing several hats as part of a small team.
- Good communication skills, ability to clearly share complex technical information with other programmers, animators and technical artists.
- Develop a character/creature animation system from the ground up (leveraging Maya / Unreal Engine 4 functionality).
- Use Unreal Engine animation system features, integrating them into our existing animation, physics and AI systems.
- Develop procedural animation tools and technologies.
- Assist in developing interfaces with game systems (AI, character control, etc.).
- Assist in developing tools for use by gameplay programmers and animators.
