Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled 3D Game Artist / Modeller with strong experience in modern game development pipelines to create high-quality, game-ready assets. This role focuses on character and environment modelling, close collaboration with game engines, and producing optimised assets suitable for real-time applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D character and environment models optimised for real-time game engines.
- Develop game-ready assets that meet technical and artistic requirements for Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
- Use Redshift as the primary renderer (or closely related equivalents) to produce visually accurate assets.
- Collaborate with game developers, designers, and technical artists to ensure assets integrate seamlessly into the game pipeline.
- Optimise meshes, textures, and materials to meet performance and memory requirements.
- Maintain consistency with art direction and technical standards throughout the production lifecycle.
- Iterate on assets based on feedback to ensure quality, performance, and usability in-game.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, 3D Art, Computer Graphics, Animation, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in 3D modelling for games, including character and environment assets.
- Strong proficiency with Maya + Redshift (or closely related tools).
- Hands-on experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
- Solid understanding of game development pipelines, asset optimisation, and real-time rendering.
- Proven ability to produce game-ready assets suitable for real-time engines.
- Strong attention to detail, visual quality, and technical constraints.
Portfolio Requirements (Mandatory)
- A clear, accessible portfolio (ArtStation, personal website, or PDF).
- Demonstrated examples of game-ready assets (not just static renders).
- Portfolio quality will be reviewed and validated before submission
