We are looking for a Senior Unity Technical Artist who can turn raw assets into polished, production-ready Unity content.
This role is not limited to animation or motion polish. We need someone who understands the full implementation flow: from source images and art assets to import setup, materials, prefabs, animation, VFX, runtime behavior, and optimization for mobile devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert raw art assets into clean, reusable, and production-ready Unity prefabs
- Set up imports, slicing, pivots, materials, shaders, animations, and prefab hierarchies
- Create polished UI and gameplay visual moments including:
Reward flows
Chest openings
Item collection sequences
Popups and feedback systems
Improve visual quality using:
Motion polish
VFX
Lighting
Post-processing
- Shader implementation
Ensure visuals are responsive, readable, and performant across mobile devices, including lower-end hardware
Profile and optimize rendering performance, overdraw, memory usage, draw calls, and asset setups
Investigate technical and visual issues deeply, identify root causes, and implement scalable solutions
Build and improve pipelines, workflows, and tools for efficient content integration
Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and engineers to achieve polished in-engine results
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience as a Unity Technical Artist
- Experience shipping or developing mobile games or apps
- Strong understanding of Unity asset pipeline and prefab creation
- Solid experience with UI animation, 2D/3D implementation, particles, materials, and shaders
- Good understanding of mobile optimization and low-device constraints
- Ability to independently explore how things work and solve implementation problems end to end
- Strong eye for polish, timing, readability, and player-facing feedback
