We are looking for a hands-on Generalist Artist with strong 3D skills and working ability in 2D and UI to contribute across all aspects of art production for hybrid simulation-style games. This role involves creating game-ready assets, implementing them in Unity, and ensuring high visual quality and consistent style across the project.
3D Art Production: Create and polish props, environment pieces, modular sets, and simple characters/NPCs with consistent style, scale, and optimized topology.
2D Art Support: Produce icons, illustrations, overlays, and other 2D assets as needed.
UI/UX Design & Implementation: Design UI screens and components aligned with mobile UX, create production-ready assets, and implement them in Unity.
Unity Setup: Import and set up assets (prefabs, materials, textures, sprite slicing, UI elements), ensure correct scaling, pivots, and in-game placement.
Art Consistency & Quality: Maintain a clear, readable visual style; ensure gameplay clarity; create style references when needed.
Pipeline & Version Control: Follow naming conventions, folder structures, and Git workflows; ensure clean handoffs and minimal rework.
Collaboration: Work closely with design, dev, and QA teams to clarify requirements, iterate on feedback, and ensure smooth asset integration.
Proven experience as a Generalist Game Artist (mobile experience preferred)
Strong 3D skills, with working ability in 2D and UI
Ability to produce optimized, game-ready assets
Basic knowledge of Unity and Git workflows
Understanding of mobile performance and UX constraints
Strong communication skills and reliability
Blender / Maya / 3ds Max, Substance Painter, Photoshop / Illustrator / Figma, Unity, GitHub / SourceTree
Experience with stylized low/mid-poly pipelines
Mobile-friendly materials/shaders, basic animation/rigging
Asset optimization and LOD workflows
Quick blockouts/greybox prototyping
