ABOUT THE JOB
We are a dynamic game studio developing an exciting, visually rich mobile rhythm game. We are looking for a passionate and talented VFX Artist to bring our music-driven gameplay to life through captivating, polished effects.
WHAT DO YOU WILL
- Create engaging in-game visual effects that enhance the music rhythm experience.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure effects match gameplay beats and style.
- Optimize VFX for smooth performance on mobile devices.
- Propose creative ideas to elevate the games visual impact.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency with Unity and mastery of the Unity Particle System.
- Understanding of shader basics (Alpha Blend, Additive, Unlit, built-in shaders).
- Skilled in texture creation using Photoshop or similar tools; illustration ability is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of any 3D software for creating and processing meshes for VFX.
- Bonus: Familiarity with After Effects and/or Canvas UI particle effects.
- Portfolio showcasing your VFX work (please include links or samples).
