As an Associate Technical Artist, you will act as a bridge between
our Artists, Designers, and Engineers, helping to ensure smooth asset
pipelines, efficient workflows, and optimized visual quality for Unity-based
titles. This role requires both creativity and technical problem-solving to
deliver scalable art pipelines and outstanding visual experiences for mobile
games.
● Collaborate
with Art and Engineering teams to integrate and optimize 2D/3D assets in Unity.
● Manage the
art pipeline from concept and asset creation to Unity integration.
● Support animation
implementation (Unity Animator).
● Profile and
optimize performance for mobile platforms (memory, draw calls, asset
compression).
● Create and
optimize particle systems and visual effects for Unity.
● Audit and
maintain asset quality, compression standards, and optimization across
platforms.
● Document and
refine pipeline processes, providing clear guidance to teams.
● Collaborate
closely with cross-functional teams to solve recurring problems.
● Knowledge of
shaders and materials using Unity’s Shader Graph or HLSL.
● Basic
Knowledge of C# to Build and maintain Unity Editor tools to streamline
pipelines and improve efficiency.
● Experience
with version control software such as Git.
● Experience
with Unity Timeline.
● 1+ years of
professional experience as a Technical Artist with Unity expertise.
● Strong
knowledge of Unity (2D/3D) and asset integration.
● Experience
with Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Figma.
● Familiarity
with rigging, skinning, and animation workflows in Unity.
● Experience
creating and optimizing particle systems and VFX.
● Understanding
of asset optimization and compression for mobile platforms.
● Problem-solving
mindset with the ability to identify technical/artistic constraints early.
● Good
communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
● Strong time
management skills to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
