Description

We’re looking for a 3D Environment Artist for contract cooperation to join our AAA project (Photorealism) - someone who can turn approved concepts into stunning, game-ready characters, push their quality to the next level in 3D, and support the team with both artistic vision and technical expertise!



Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality, AAA photoreal 3D assets (buildings, environment, props) from concept to final, ensuring alignment with game design guidelines;
  • Own the full production cycle: blockout/supporting iterations, final modeling, and delivery of production-ready assets;
  • Handle technical implementation in UE5: import, set up, test, troubleshoot/debug assets, and adapt art to engine constraints;
  • Work confidently with UE workflows including asset import pipelines, material/shader setup, and blueprint preparation/support where needed;
  • Perform asset optimization for UE5 (including Nanite/AAA pipeline requirements) to meet performance, memory, and technical standards;
  • Maintain quality control through regular reviews, feedback loops, and continuous improvements to keep assets at the expected visual bar;
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure consistent quality and smooth integration across the environment/level pipeline;
  • If a senior professional: mentor junior/mid artists, providing constructive feedback to support skill growth and consistency


Qualifications
  • Strong experience in high-quality 3D environment props production for games (photoreal/AAA level) using 3ds Max / Maya / Blender, with high-poly detailing/sculpting in ZBrush and texturing in Substance Painter / Designer;
  • UE5 implementation skills: import, set up, test, and debug assets in Unreal Engine 5, understanding engine constraints and adapting art accordingly;
  • Confident working in UE5 with model import pipelines, materials/shaders, and basic Blueprint preparation/support when needed for asset integration;
  • Proven asset optimization skills for UE5 (performance, memory, budgets), including readiness for AAA/Nanite workflows;
  • Solid understanding of AAA pipelines and Nanite best practices, ensuring assets are production-ready and scalable;
  • Strong quality mindset: able to self-review work and participate in team reviews, providing constructive feedback;
  • Good English (at least B1 - spoken and written) for day-to-day team/customer communication
